What it is

A tool for creating instant online meeting rooms without having to install software, sign up for a social network or add contacts.

How it works

Go to www.meetings.io and click the "Get a Meeting Room" button. You will be given a unique URL for your meetings room that you can share with people you want to meet or hang out with.  Finally, click the "Enter Now" button to open and enter the meeting room.  (You will be prompted to turn on your webcam and microphone.)

Ways to use it

Meet with off-site staff, collaborate on projects, meet with board members - the possibilities are endless.  This tool could be used to save time and money on travel to physical locations.

How much it costs

It's free.  You don't have to sign up to create instant meetings rooms.  To get a "Vanity Meeting Room," schedule meetings in advance or view and manage past meetings, you do have to create a login (but that's free too).
