Operation e-Cycle

The National Center for Nonprofit Excellence (NCNE) has partnered with Ceeva, Inc. to bring Operation-E-Cycle to nonprofit organizations in the Pittsburgh region.

Here's how it works:  NCNE accepts donations of computer equipment from local companies, organizations and government agencies then redeploys (i.e. "recycle") these items to local non-profits for little or no cost.  Ceeva, Inc. works with the non-profits to refurbish the donated equipment to meet their needs for no little or no cost

Since June of 2010, the NCNE has refurbished and donated over 500 desktops, laptops, printers and other pieces of technology equipment to Greater Pittsburgh non-profits. Much of the refurbishing of these computers has been done with a generous grant from the Richard King Mellon Foundation.
