Yinztagram

What it is

Yinztagram is similar to the popular photo editing/sharing iPhone app Instagram.  What makes it special is that you can add some Pittsburgh flavor to your photos by including favorite local icons and landmarks.

The app developers are local Yinzers Matthew Pegula, Colin Miller and Drew VonArx.

Unlike our other featured Cool Tech Tools, this isn't exactly nonprofit-specific, but it just had to be shared!

How it works

Download the free app on your iPhone or iPad and open it.  Take a photo when prompted and drag-and-drop in your icon or landmark selection.  Use the pinching feature to re-size your selection, then save the photo.

Ways to use it

You name it! Take fun photos and share on your website, Facebook or other social media accounts.  The possibilities are only limited by your imagination.
