In summer 2010, Facebook hit the 500-million user mark. To reach that vast potential audience, a growing number of nonprofits are creating Facebook pages.
It is not, however, enough to simply create a Facebook page. To be successful, organizations must set up the page properly, take advantage of customization options, engage users and provide fresh and interesting content regularly.
