Colonial Duo Earns All-NEC Honors 

 Pittsburgh – The Robert Morris University Colonials walked away with two Northeast Conference awards at the recent NEC Volleyball Banquet at Long Island University. Junior Amanda Graham (Melbourne, Fla./Eau Gallie) was named to the All-NEC First Team, while sophomore setter Alyssa Bennett (Ramona, Calif./Ramona) was named to the All-NEC Second Team.

Graham finished the season second in the league with a .329 hitting percentage and third with 1.17 blocks per game. This marks her third consecutive year earning All-NEC honors. She was named to the first team her freshman year and earned second team honors last year. The Florida native accumulated 230 kills throughout the season, which tied for second on the club and was first on the team with 2.64 kills per game. She also led the squad with 102 total blocks and finished second on the team with 28 service aces. She was named NEC Player of the Week one time throughout the season. This year she also was named to ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA All-District II Academic All-American First Team. Last year she earned a spot on the second team.

This marks Bennett’s second time as an All-NEC honoree. Last year she earned a spot on the All-NEC First Team and this year was named to the second team. She ranked third in the league with 1011 assists and finished second on the RMU squad with 257 digs. The sophomore also added 136 kills, 74 blocks and 23 service aces. Throughout the season she was named NEC Player of the Week one time.
