At RMU, Ray Gensler earned a 3.91 GPA, ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America honors, Northeast Conference Scholar-Athlete honors, and an RMU career sack record.
And before he even graduated, he landed a dream job with the Pittsburgh office of Deloitte Consulting, where he assists in valuations of large industrial and manufacturing operations.
"The job is all about paying close attention," Ray says. "My knowledge of the manufacturing side of things helps me understand what I’m looking at when it comes to machinery and manufacturing operations."
Ray credits RMU with broadening his perspective and widening his options. "I came here having never seen a whole lot beyond my little world," he says. "These four years have made me more open to diversity, more cultured and grounded as a person, and someone who pays a lot more attention to detail."
