Moon Township, Pa. -- The School of Nursing and Health Sciences at Robert Morris University (RMU) is offering a study abroad course in China this May with stops in Beijing, Shanghai and Nanjing. The trip takes place from May 17-31, and students will meet four times during the spring semester before leaving for China.
In this course, students will learn about Chinese history and culture and have the opportunity to examine health care throughout the country. Final projects will be individualized to the students’ majors. Students who are interested can register for this course as part of the spring flat-rate package and earn three credits.
A non-refundable deposit of $1,800 is due by Feb. 13 to secure a seat in the class. The remaining $1,050 will be due by March 6.. The overall cost of $2,850 includes the cost of airfare, housing, meals, excursions and tour guides. Late payments will result in a $200 penalty. Need-based scholarships are available.
