Welcome to SEMS-ROC, the research and outreach center for the School of Engineering, Mathematics and Science (SEMS).

SEMS-ROC is the home for the faculty, staff and students of SEMS who are engaged in a wide variety of research, development and outreach activities which enrich the educational experience at Robert Morris and connect our School to the region, the nation and the globe.


“SEMS-Research and Outreach Center, (SEMS-ROC), was formed in 2010 to elevate the research and outreach agenda in the School of Engineering, Mathematics & Science, (SEMS). The initiative by the school Dean and faculty came in response to connect our school with the region, the nation and the globe. SEMS-ROC demonstrates diversity and interdisciplinary interests of all three departments in SEMS. Welcome to SEMS-ROC!”
