This information is for students currently enrolled at Robert Morris University who are interested in changing their major to nursing.
Admission Requirements
Admission to the RMU nursing program is competitive. If a student has less than 24 college credits at the time of application, admission will be based partly on the college academic record and partly on the high school academic record. If the student has more than 24 college credits at the time of application, admission will be based on the college record. Students must have a QPA of at least 3.0 and must have successfully completed a general chemistry course with lab at either the high school or college level. An essay and two professional references are required.
To apply to the nursing program, current RMU students must complete a Request for Change of Major form. All applications will be reviewed, and decisions will be made based on each student's academic record and available space in the program.
