INFS3486 - Modeling and Simulation

Fall 2018

This course offers students a hands-on introduction to the basic concepts, practices and applications of data modeling and simulation techniques using real world case studies. Students will learn the advanced features of R to explore the process of planning and structuring a simulation project to aid in decision-making as well as presenting the results. The course also focuses on hands-on applications of model fitting and evaluation, and simulation with complex data.
Prerequisite: STAT2110
