This course is intended to meet the needs of students and professionals who want to master practical network and computer security. A basic knowledge of computers and networks is required. Those seeking to pass the Computing Technology Industry Association's (CompTIA's) Security+ certification exam will find the course text's approach and content especially helpful, because all Security+ objectives are covered in the textbook Security+ Guide to Network Security Fundamentals.
