Course Details

In this course students will study art and design history in Florence, Pisa, Venice and Milan in northern Italy. Students will look at historic and contemporary art and design artifacts, economics, tools, and interdisciplinary developments, and reflect on how Italian art and political times have been intertwined particularly in the Renaissance, Modern and Contemporary times. Students who register for the course are required to attend class and go on the 2016 study abroad trip to Italy May 9-May 23, 2016.
