Course Description

This course presents an overview of human development across the lifespan. Students will gain an understanding of the physical, cognitive, emotional, social, and moral growth that occurs during each period of development. Emphasis will be placed on theories, research, and techniques that can be used to address developmental needs, abnormal behavior, and multicultural factors that commonly arise in a therapeutic setting.
