Course Details
This faculty-led study abroad course is an introduction to the literature and culture of Canada, focusing on the cross-cultural educational experience for American students. Through the process of close reading, analysis and interpretation of literature, students are invited to make connections between themes and concepts associated with the Canadian experience (including aboriginal, immigrant, Francophone and Anglophone perspectives) and their own experiences in Canada. Students who register for the course are required to attend class and go on the 2017 study abroad program to Canada May 7-May 20, 2017.
