Founded in 1921, RMU's campus is located 17 miles from downtown Pittsburgh, on 230 acres of rolling hills in suburban Moon Township, Pennsylvania. RMU continues to grow and now boasts of approximately 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students from 40 U.S. states and 47 nations around the world. The university offers 60 bachelor's degree programs and 20 master's and doctoral degree programs.

Robert Morris University (RMU) institutional scholarships are funds given to students who show promise of high achievement in academics. The following academic based RMU scholarships are awarded through the Admissions Office at the point of acceptance to the university. These scholarships are based solely on GPA which is converted into a 4.0 scale by international admissions counselors after official transcripts are received.
