Amanda Neatrour, program manager for the Women's Leadership and Mentorship Program, participated in the the inaugural cohort of the Pathways to Resiliency and Well-Being for Black Girls Who Have Experienced Trauma Professional Learning Community (PLC), where she developed a project to better serve Black women and women of color at RMU: "Programming and Mentoring Strategies for Black College Women’s Leadership Development." The PLC is organized by the Black Girls Equity Alliance, an initiative of Gwen's Girls.

The Media Arts Gallery in collaboration with the Center for Global Engagement is excited to announce this year's International Show, a juried exhibition featuring artwork created by RMU students while studying abroad and by international students while studying in the U.S. Please join us in the Media Arts Gallery (Wheatley Center) for the opening reception Tuesday, February 5, from noon to 2 p.m. Don't miss this opportunity to share our communities international experiences!

- The Office of Underrepresented Minority Student Achievement and Multicultural Student Achievement invites you to the Life Skills + Cultural Competency Workshop with Donald Sheffield on Thursday, February 7 from 6-8 p.m. in Yorktown Hall. Sheffield is the founder and president of TAME Inc. and a multiple award-winning scholar, educator, and businessman.
- RMU is offering employees Green Zone Ally Training, an 90-minute session where you'll learn more about veteran and military families at Robert Morris. The training module will teach you about military culture, transition strengths and challenges for veterans and military members, and ways to understand and assist veterans in your department. Anyone interested should RSVP by emailing David Munn at munn@rmu.edu. Available sessions are Tuesday, Feb. 12 from 9 - 10:30 a.m. and Wednesday, Feb. 13 from 2 - 3:30 p.m. in the Benjamin Rush Classroom.

RMU BASKETBALL COACHES SHOW PRESENTED BY PEOPLES NATURAL GAS...and featuring Robert Morris head coach Andy Toole continues on Monday Feb. 4 from The Yard Gastropub (670 Chauvet Drive/Pointe @ North Fayette) at 7 pm. All fans are welcome to attend, and food/drinks are on us. Co-hosting the show once again is the RMU Hall of Fame Voice of the Colonials Chris Shovlin. It will continue to air live each Monday at 7 pm through March 11 on the radio home for RMU Hoops, 970 AM ESPN Pittsburgh as well as on the iHeart Radio mobile app.
