Nursing Care Coordination
Nurses who aspire to leadership must advance their professional communication and management skills to impact organizational change and innovation in healthcare networks. RMU offers a menu of 9-credit online nursing leadership certificates that can be completed as standalone stackable credentials or incorporated into an M.S.N. in Nursing Leadership.
The nursing care coordination leadership certificate focuses on the management of the personal, social, economic, and environmental factors that influence a patient’s healthcare outcomes. Students learn how leaders in this specialty can manage the transitional care experiences of patients through an interpersonal approach to improve patient and healthcare organizational outcomes. This certificate is offered at the graduate level.
