Please click here to view these important dates on the Academic Calendar.
- How do I withdraw from a class?
Visit or contact the Colonial Hub to withdraw from a class. Athletes, International, and VA/Military Family students will require additional steps to withdraw.
- Can I get into a closed class?
A student desiring entrance into a "closed" class must obtain permission from the department head in consultation with the faculty in the school offering the course. After the dean’s maximum is met, the department head will consult with the faculty member and seek approval from the dean as necessary.
- Can I get into a class after the drop/add period?
Students may continue to register for classes during the first week of a session. Cooperative Education/Internship/Practicum students are permitted to register throughout the semester with permission of the department head. Also, students may substitute internships for other courses during the first three weeks of classes. Any exception to this policy must meet with the approval of the respective Department Head who owns the course the student wishes to enter.
- Can I CLEP a class?
A students’ major will determine what courses they may CLEP. If you wish to sit down and discuss your options with someone, please stop in the Colonial Hub.

The Colonial Hub registers all incoming freshmen students for their first semester. Schedules are made by following the four year course plan developed to keep you on track towards graduation.
- If I am an Undecided major, how do I meet with my advisor?
Undecided majors will receive an email from their advisor two to three weeks prior to the beginning of the registration period. Students will meet with their advisor to choose course for the next semester.
