30th Annual Teaching Economics Conference

The conference is designed to address the interests of teachers of college level economics. Participants at the first twenty-nine conferences represented over 100 colleges and universities from 35 states, the District of Columbia, and Canada. Participant presentations will be included as complements to the scheduled speakers. Speakers at past conferences include Stanley Brue, James Buchanan, David Colander, Susan Feiner, Robert Frank, Denise Hazlett, Campbell R. McConnell, Michael Salemi, Phillip Saunders, Bradley Schiller, John Siegfried, William Walstad, and Michael Watts.

The conference will be held at the Sheraton Pittsburgh Airport Hotel, 1160 Thorn Run Road, Coraopolis, PA 15108.   The hotel is located eight miles from Pittsburgh International Airport. The room rate $99+tax a night. There will be shuttle service between the hotel and the airport.
