Academic Internship Program
The purpose of the Academic Internship Program (AIP) is for students to develop relevant career learning experience and enable them to combine academic study and practical experience for academic credit. Academic internship positions are reviewed by the Career and Professional Development Center for substance and then approved by the appropriate academic department heads. The Career and Professional Development Center, academic departments, employers, and students share in the joint responsibility to ensure that high standards are maintained for academic internship positions.
