Students must apply for candidate status in education during the semester in which they have completed a minimum of 48 credits, but less than 60 credits. Students will be advised by their Certification Coordinator or Education Department Head about the specific requirements that must be met to continue in the Communication (Teacher Certification) program. Students must consult regularly with their Certification Coordinator to ensure that all requirements are met.
