Master Control
The Academic Media Center houses technology most students don't have the luxury to work with. We have our very own master control that controls RMU-TV programming. It also has the capability to downlink satellite feeds. We also take in daily CNN Newsource feeds for student producers to utilize. Plus, RMU-TV creates their own commercials for campus and non-profit events.

Control Room
It's just like stepping into a real station's control room. The Academic Media Center's control room features a switcher, teleprompter, graphics system, audio room, IFB system and 3 learning stations with monitors and headphones.

News Set
RMU-TV has one of the biggest sets in the area and we're in the progress of updating its graphic look. Students are allowed to use the sets not only for class projects but also to produce any type of show they can dream up.

Interview Set
Our interview set allows us to invite guests to chat about current topics in the headlines.

Editing Capabilities
If you want to learn it all you've come to the right place. Our editing labs consist of 3 Avid non-linear editing stations, 3 Final Cut Pro editing stations, 3 DVC Pro linear editing stations and 1 SVHS editing station. It's a great way to get a well-rounded video production education.

Equipment Rentals
Getting out of the classroom and putting your skills to the test that's what the Academic Media Center is all about. That's why we have tons of video equipment students can use free of charge for classroom projects and documentaries. We provide 4 DVC Pro camcorders, 3 Mini DV camcorders and all the lighting, microphones and monitors you could ask for.

Dubbing Capabilities
The Academic Media Center can dub from almost any format to any other format including Beta, VHS, DVC Pro, Mini DV, DV Cam and DVD.
