RMU Video Students Earn Aegis Awards
 

Robert Morris University (RMU) communications students Daniel Yost of Coraopolis and Scott Golmic of Cranberry Twp. recently received Aegis Awards for video projects they completed through RMU's Academic Media Center. Both received awards for their production of RMU-TV's "Colonial Sports Center" program, while Golmic also won an award for his work "Behind the Scenes: Colonial Sports Center."

A leading competition for professional video and film makers, the Aegis Award recognizes the people and organizations responsible for developing some of the most effective video and film productions today. One of the oldest and most respected video contests in the U.S., the Aegis Awards are peer-judged by fellow producers, directors, cameramen, and other professionals who work in film and video.

Robert Morris University, founded in 1921, is a private, four year institution with an enrollment of approximately 5,000 undergraduate and graduate students. The University offers 30 undergraduate programs and 18 masters and doctoral degree programs. An estimated 22,000 alumni live and work in western Pennsylvania.
