Course Description
Students in this course will discuss the variety of programming options available to children and families, investigate social skills programs, explore communication approaches, and research evidence-based interventions for students with ASD. Students will complete an intervention assessment tool and create specially designed instruction for a student on the spectrum. Finally, students in this course will synthesize this information
and reflect on issues as they apply to families and individuals on the spectrum throughout their life.
