This course is an introductory course presenting the principles of modern algebra. Topics covered include the real number system, linear equations, word problems, factoring, operations with polynomials, algebraic fractions, and a thorough introduction to exponents and radicals. This course is recommended for students who have not completed an algebra course within the last four years.
