QS301 - Management Science
Fall 1997
This course emphasizes quantitative business techniques as they apply to the managerial decision-making process. All techniques presented are grounded in practical applications with emphasis on computer solutions. Topics include linear programming with sensitivity analysis and shadow pricing, transportation and assignment algorithms, inventory control models, PERT/CPM, queuing, and forecasting and time series applications.
Prerequisites -- QS205 and QS211 or permission of the department head.
