QS309 - Calculus W/Analytic Geom III

Fall 1997

This course is the third in a three-course Calculus sequence. Topics covered include conic sections, plan curves, parametric equations, vectors and curves in the plane; dot and cross products, applications, target and normal vectors; functions of several variables, partial derivatives, gradients, extrema of function of two variables, Lagrange multiples, multiple integrals, polar, cylindrical and spherical coordinates. Software proficiency in word processing is required.
Prerequisite -- QS217 or permission of the department head and Equivalent
