EL310 - Automatic Identifications Syst

Fall 1999

is a first course in the study of methods and systems used to automatically identify objects and information to promote the development of a logistical system. Various forms of keyless data entry are emphasized in the delivery of the course, including bar coding, optical character recognition, voice data entry, and other systems. Laboratory experiences emphasize bar coding technology and various industrial and service sector applications. 3 credits
Prerequisite: EL300 or permission of the department head
