EL402 - Pub Transp Operatns/Logistics

Fall 1999

provides an engineering perspective on issues of concern in the development and viability of urban areas such as street and highway congestion, conservation of space and energy, urban passenger transportation modes, system and service planning, public transportation management and marketing policies, environmental impacts and land use. A systems approach that includes financial, accounting, managerial, as well as engineering perspectives will be integrated throughout the course. 3 credits
Prerequisite: QS303/304 or permission of the department head
