ES401 - Software Project Management
Fall 1999
addresses the management consideration in software systems development. The course provides the basis for describing and designing for various economic and customer-driven factors in the final software product. Concepts of estimation models, project management, risk analysis, and scheduling are topics covered to aid in integrating software planning, mechanisms for monitoring and controlling projects, and leadership and team building. Students will complete individual planning exercises and participate in a team exercise that results in a software project plan.
