ES408 - Hardware Systems

Fall 1999

introduces students to the hardware demands of a mature software development organization emphasizing object-oriented software systems as they relate to software design, implementation, test, and maintenance. Specific hardware systems requirements are discussed in detail as they relate to the craft of producing high-quality software products. Concepts of computer systems requirements, optimizing compiler machine needs, performance requirements, as well as cost estimates at they relate to hardware systems. 3 credits
Prerequisites: ES406, QS217, and at least two courses from the Essential Business Core or permission of the department head
