ENGR6025 - Health and Safety Management
Summer 2013
This course is an introduction to safety engineering and management, work design, accident causation and investigation, and workers compensation as applied to industrial situations. The student will understand the role of hazard recognition and be provided with government standards and regulations. Job safety analysis, reduction of accident rates, personal protective equipment, environmental hazards, operational analysis, and workstation organization are among topics covered.
