ELED4020 - Language Arts Methods
Spring 2016
Language Arts Methods enables the prospective teacher to understand the processes of Language Arts. Students will learn how to create a Student and Response-Centered Classroom rich with literature, writing, speaking and listening. They will learn to incorporate appropriate teaching strategies, assessments and instructional media. Topics such as Language Development, Drama, Response Journals, Reading and Writing Workshop, Mechanics of Language and Media Literacy will be addressed with hands on approach.
Prerequisites: Candidacy Status, EDUC2000 and ELED3350 Co-requisite: ELED4010
