MGMT4105 - Compensation Management
Fall 2016
This course addresses the strategic choices involved in compensation systems. Concerns for the equity and acceptability of the internal pay structure, external competitiveness regarding pay, and individual employee contributions will be emphasized. The course also covers employee benefits, the influence of government and unions on pay systems, pay discrimination, incentive systems, and merit pay. Coursework includes application problems, casework, and special projects in job analysis, job descriptions, and job evaluation.
