This course introduces issues and concepts about technologicaldevelopment and its impact upon individuals, organizations, society, and culture. Information technologys impact upon organizational and societal structures is studied in depth. A theoretical framework is developed for understanding the relationship between technology and its environment, including ethical and legal dimensions.
