CSCI1010 - Intro To Computer Science
Spring 2024
Introduction to computer science and the basic concepts of computer programming and algorithmic
problem solving. Students will explore the basic concepts of algorithmic problem-solving. After completing the course, students will
be able to design algorithmic solutions to problems and have a basic understanding of several areas of computational thinking such
as identifying and defining problems and formulating stepwise solutions using tools like pseudocode, and flowcharts. The course is
the first course in computing for computer science and related majors and it is also appropriate for students in other majors who want
to apply computing experience to their disciplines.
