HNRS3900 - Honors Seminar
Summer 2013 Along with the Honors Thesis, the Honors Seminar forms the heart of the honors curriculum for upperclassmen. Interested faculty will submit proposals to the honors directors for a course on an interdisciplinary topic of interest to honors students. For example, a course on alternative energy could be co-taught by proessors in the fields of Science and Economics Co-taught classes or classes with a number of guest speakers will be greatly encouraged. With motivated students of high ability and professors teaching in a seminar format with an interdisciplinary approach, the course should prove to be an exciting educational environment in which learning has more depth and makes a lasting impact. 3 Credits |
