In this Honors Seminar students apply the laws of physics to a variety of sports to not only gain a deeper understanding of how physics applies to different sports, but to gain an appreciation of the role physics plays in enhancing athletic performance. Students are actively engaged throughout the class, both through student led discussions and presentations, and a research project which emphasizes the creative and exploratory nature of science.
