17th RMU Sport Management Career Summit

Virtual Summit | October 7, 8 and 9, 2020

With the challenges of the 2020 COVID pandemic causing significant disruptions within sport and entertainment properties along with the industry serving as a focal point of change in societal and cultural issues. In addition to building a foundation for students professional development, there will be two themes; “the art of innovation and pivoting” and “turning on the lights” emphasized through the event. The workshops and panels will cover skills, content knowledge and innovation in athlete/media/fan engagement and business practices along with examining how the industry is creating awareness and change with diversity and social justice relating to race and gender.
