Course Description

This is a laboratory/field course that exposes students to the appropriate techniques and procedures used to field collect and preserve biological specimens in biological investigations. Students become familiar with these collection techniques in field and laboratory settings. Indoor and outdoor locations are sampled to provide hands-on demonstrations of the appropriate collection and preservation techniques. Students collect specimens and prepare relevant reports detailing their collection activities.
