Professional Background Donna Anderson became RMU's first Director of Student Civic Engagement in 2007, after serving 2 years as Director of America's Promise - both in the Division of Student Life. Donna's primary responsibilities include Community Service, the Nonprofit Leadership Association certificate program, Service-Learning, and voter registration and engagement. Prior to coming to RMU, Donna spent 10 years as a leader in the nonprofit sector serving as Senior Director, Community-Based Programs and Services, YWCA Greater Pittsburgh; Executive Director, National Conference for Community and Justice (Pittsburgh Chapter) and Executive Director, Interfaith Volunteer Caregivers of Southwestern Pennsylvania. Earlier in her career, Donna spent 8 years as a church pastor in the United Methodist Church, where she is an ordained Elder.
