Capital Projects and Safety

Planning and Design provide design options, develops and implements creative and cost-effective solutions to re-purpose or expand the University’s built environment. We ensure processes used for these changes/additions occur in an integrated fashion and meet the University’s quality standards.  Having absorbed the former construction department's responsibilities, Planning and Design also manage construction services.

We manage all aspects of small/mid-size capital projects from the planning and design of these initiatives, including documentation for the initial capital request; budget preparation and management; scope development; and the construction schedule.
