- The Center for Veterans and Military Families is proud to announce the following students have graduated from Leadership Pittsburgh's exclusive Community Leadership Course for Veterans (CLCV):
- Javonna Tyson-Burgess
- James P. Martin
- Timothy Kelly Jr.
CLCV leverages the skills and experiences of post-9/11 veterans for the betterment of the broader Pittsburgh region. Through participation in the six-month course, CLCV cohort members develop a greater understanding of our region, meet with business and community leaders, as well as utilize their leadership skills to accomplish a community impact project in partnership with a local nonprofit organization. This course provides participants with the exposure, experiences, and connections that prepare them to tackle the challenges of our community.

- RMU's 5th Annual Entrepreneurship Week continues now through Nov 22. Join the Massey Center for Entrepreneurship and Innovation for a headlining virtual line-up of iconic entrepreneurs and captains of innovation. For more information email mcei@rmu.edu.
- The Center for Veterans and Military Families new Veterans Integration to Academic Leadership (VITAL) program is hosting a virtual training to help faculty and staff understand how to best support our student veterans. "Understanding Student Veterans in Higher Education: Challenges and Triumphs from Military to Classroom" will take place on December 2 from noon - 1:30 p.m. via Google Meet and will be facilitated by Sabrina Hakim and David Ausman.
