  • At 5:30 a.m. on November 21, more than 50 ROTC cadets from RMU and Franciscan University conducted a 5k “ruck march” to deliver approximately 100 toys to the Moon Township Police Department as part of the USMC Reserve Toys for Tots Program. RMU Police provided the police escort during the entire route, while Moon Township Police provided traffic control at all off-campus intersections. Also participating in the march was Lt. Colonel Faith Chamberlain and Dan Hart from the Army ROTC Three Rivers Battalion Command and David Ausman from RMU's Center for Veterans and Military Families.

  • The School of Engineering, Mathematics and Science's SEMS Outreach participated in the Carnegie Science Center’s SciTech Days November 13-15. Sci Tech is a field trip for middle and high school students to explore interactive exhibits from local scientists, engineers, tradespeople, and other professionals from more than 40 leading STEM companies and universities.

You're Invited

  • The Center for Global Engagement will host a farewell reception from 3:30 to 5 p.m. on Monday, December 2 for Ambassador Robin Sanders, this fall's Rooney School. Sanders earned a D.Sc. from RMU and is a member of the Board of Trustees. The event takes place in Rooney House (Colonial Village No. 1.)
  • The Center for Global Engagement is excited to host a Spanish Conversation Hour on Tuesday, December 3 from 2 to 3 p.m. Students, faculty, and staff are all welcome to attend, with any level of Spanish. Please RSVP here to give us a better indication of the language levels to expect.
  • The Office of Residence Life will host the Almost Midnight Breakfast on Tuesday, December 10 and is looking for 20 volunteers. If your department has any leftover giveaways please feel free to bring them and we'll put them out as a bonus for the students.
