  • Karen Paullet, associate professor of computer and information systems, published four articles from the International Association for Computer Information Systems, one of which was co-authored by RMU's Gary Janckenko, part-time faculty, and Frank Hartle, assistant professor of criminal justice.

  • The RMU rowing team placed a league-high 22 student-athletes on the 2020 Metro Atlantic Athletic Conference (MAAC) Rowing All-Academic Team, it was announced by the conference Wednesday. To be eligible, a student-athlete must complete two semesters at their institution and hold a cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.20 on a 4.00 scale. Three seniors, six juniors and 13 sophomores make up the 2020 MAAC Rowing All-Academic Team for RMU. Representing the senior class for the Colonials were Brittany Bell, Kestra Harris and Kalyssa Pottgeiser. Bell posted a 3.84 cumulative GPA while earning a Bachelor of Science degree in environmental science, while Harris earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in communication while recording a 3.79 GPA.   • Remember to visit the "Working Through COVID-19" webpage to access resources and view/submit photos of the RMU community working from home. Non-essential employees must complete this form in order to come to campus.

  • WorkPartners is offering a virtual physical campaign - Home Run for Health. Home Run for Health is a nine-week campaign that encourages participants to log as many "home runs" (10,000 steps) as they can before the "game" ends. Register between May 11 and June 15. Employees enrolled in the RMU medical plan may earn $75 HSA dollars for the 20-21 TAHS program for participating.  Covered spouses who participate may also earn $75 HSA dollars. 

  • RMU in the News has been updated with May's coverage of the university in the news media, with plenty of stories about RMU's plans to return to in-person instruction this fall and with the expertise of our faculty on full view.
