The ceremony will take place on May 10, 2024, at 4:00pm, at the UPMC Events Center on the RMU campus.

David is an accomplished leader with an impressive track record in business and community involvement. He has played a pivotal role as Chairman & CEO of Gateway Financial, demonstrating strong leadership in building and managing relationships within the financial sector. David is skilled at understanding the complications that come with success. He has advised some of the wealthiest families and accomplished businesses in the country in the areas of legacy planning and executive benefits.

Beyond his professional achievements, David is deeply committed to community service and philanthropy. He actively engages with various organizations, focusing notably on workforce development and education initiatives. His leadership roles include serving as Chairman of Partner4Work and contributing to the boards of influential organizations such as Robert Morris University, United Way, the Allegheny Conference on Community Development, BEAM Collaborative, Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation, and the SneeReinhardt Charitable Foundation, among others.

David is also involved as a board member with Highmark Health/Highmark, Inc./Allegheny Health Network, and FNB Corporation. David's dedication to community betterment has garnered him recognition through prestigious awards like the Jewish Nation Fund Tree of Life Award, American Ireland Fund Chairman’s Award, and the Fred Thieman Mentoring Partnership of Southwestern PA Award.
