RMU MBA Makes Pittsburgh's Top Three in Enrollment
Flexible professional program is also ranked Pennsylvania's 5th most affordable online MBA.
Robert Morris University’s M.B.A. program is one of the three largest in the region, according to the Pittsburgh Business Times based on 2020 fall enrollments. RMU has seen impressive enrollment growth in its M.B.A. program, driven by its strong reputation and fast and flexible online format.
Affordability is also a major factor. RMU is ranked the 5th most affordable online M.B.A. in Pennsylvania by College Consensus. Another is its flexibility, and the ability for students to specialize with “stackable” credentials in Business Analytics and Big Data, Project Management, or Supply Chain and Logistics Management.
RMU’s strong reputation in the field of business is also an important factor driving demand. Business has been the focus of RMU since its founding a century ago as the Pittsburgh School of Accountancy. The university is an accredited member of AACSB International -- The Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business. Synonymous with the highest standards of excellence since 1916, AACSB provides quality assurance, business education intelligence, and professional development services to over 1,500 member organizations and more than 785 accredited business schools worldwide.
Inspired by the collaborative give and take of the real-world workplace, RMU’s M.B.A. program features team teaching in every one of the seven core classes. Two expert faculty from different disciplines reinforce the interrelation of management, finance, marketing, and other key business skills.
The M.B.A. curriculum consists of 10 three-credit courses, all taught in an 8-week accelerated format. Students taking one course every eight weeks can complete the degree requirements in less than two years. Class size is kept small for enhanced interaction, so that both professors are able to communicate frequently and productively with all students. Adding to the program’s flexibility, some courses are optionally offered on campus in a traditional classroom setting.
The RMU School of Business also offers a menu of post-baccalaureate certificates to increase your marketability that seamlessly integrate into our M.B.A. degree or offer opportunities for stacking additional credentials.
Eight-week course cycles for the M.B.A. begin throughout the year. To find out more or ask about enrollment, email Jodi Potter, the director of the M.B.A. program, or call her at 412-397-6387.
For employers, RMU aims to be a preferred strategic partner for corporations and other organizations in the Pittsburgh region and beyond, ensuring that employers have the well-educated workforce they need to remain competitive.
