The Class of 2030 will begin RMU’s newly enhanced core curriculum, equipping students with the essential skills needed to lead and thrive in an increasingly tech-forward world. Every incoming student will graduate with practical coursework in artificial intelligence, demonstrated proficiency in financial literacy, and the hallmark professional communication skills that have defined an RMU education. Designed to close the career readiness gap, these innovative learning experiences ensure that RMU graduates enter the workforce with confidence, practical fluency, and a strong competitive edge in their chosen fields.

New students will arrive on campus on August 27, 2026, and will officially be welcomed into the University family at the Matriculation Ceremony, held in the UPMC Events Center later that afternoon. Throughout orientation weekend, these students will discover RMU’s dynamic campus and extraordinary experiences, culminating in the University’s fireworks spectacular known as BobbyMania! Classes begin Monday, August 31, 2026
