M.S. in Leadership & Organizational Studies and Leadership and Organizational Change Certificate: Virtual Information Session

Join us for a 30 minute virtual information session on the benefits of RMU’s M.S. in Leadership & Organizational Studies and our Leadership and Organizational Change Certificate. Organizations require effective, knowledgeable, and fluid leaders and followers who are capable of leading and following in the context of accomplishing organizational goals, leading change and adapting to new environments in today’s complex world. Learn about the course structure, key subjects, and learning outcomes directly from the program director joined by members of the admissions team. There will also be time reserved at the end to ask any questions you have about RMU or the programs. We look forward to meeting you!

The Leadership and Organizational Change certificate program offers a foundation in the process of personal, group, and organizational change, ways in which change is introduced and implemented in organizations, and how to sustain an organizational change culture.

This program prepares students for a wide variety of career options in which their broad knowledge about the change process among people and organizations enables them to implement strategies that are mutually beneficial organizational change and advancement. Graduates obtain jobs or advance in their current careers in administration, management, and entrepreneurial ventures in corporate, government, and private business, military, and non-profit organizations.

Program Objectives

Upon successful completion of this certificate program, participants should be able to:

  • Advance their current careers in in administration, management, and entrepreneurial ventures in corporate, government, private business, military, and non-profit organizations.
  • Obtain a foundational knowledge and skills in the process of personal, group, and organizational change.
  • Learn ways in which change is introduced and implemented in organizations.
  • Sustain an organizational change culture.
  • Use broad knowledge about the change process among people and organizations to implement strategies that are mutually beneficial and encourage organizational change and advancement.
Curriculum & Study Method

The LOC program consists of three 3-credit courses for a total of nine (9) credits. Participants will benefit from online learning resources through Blackboard. 

The program can be completed in less than six months in 8-week sessions online. It is available as a standalone credential or can count toward the Master of Science degree in Organizational Leadership. A previous Bachelor’s degree is required.
