The Pre-Engineering program is designed to provide students with a strong foundation in mathematics, science, and engineering principles, preparing them for admission or seamless transfer into any of RMU’s Bachelor of Science engineering programs.

The program is geared to enhance the skills and knowledge for BS engineering program by covering basic engineering, Science, and Math courses along with RMU Gen-Ed courses. The following are the main objectives of the program.

When the students complete the certificate requirements they will:

  • Develop core knowledge in mathematics, science, and fundamental engineering principles.
  • Have the academic skills needed for entry into RMU’s Bachelor of Science engineering program.
  • Strengthen analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities essential for success in engineering studies.
